The Japanese idol Shinsuke Yamanaka has not yet resigned to the fact that he's a former world champion swears and this Thursday he's promised to remove the belt from the WBC bantamweight belt from Mexico's Luis "Pantera" Nery when they meet in a rematch at the Sumo Stadium in the Kokugikan neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan and that Aztecadeportes.com will broadcast.

After a five year reign and 12 successful defenses, Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19 KOs) was knocked out in four rounds by Nery who overpowered the then 35-year-old champion in August of 2017 in a Mexican feat in the Far East.

In what was the final press conference held at the Palace Hotel in Tokyo, the room was packed with top journalists, and Shinsuke could not hide his desperation to take revenge on Nery.

"I will fight with my heart, for my family, for my country, for honor, I can not resign myself to see my belt on the other side of the table with the Mexican, on Thursday I will recover it," expressed Yamanaka to dozens of media present in the conference.

While Nery (25-0, 19 KOs) promised to pull yet another knockout victory.

"I'm better prepared, with more motivation, the only plan I have is to knock Yamanaka out again," said the 23-year-old WBC world champion, who was accompanied by his representative Guillermo Brito Jr.

Nery brings the support of the WBO world champion Arely Muciño and former champion Jorge ¨Travieso¨Arce, who are Tokyo, Japan as well as a large Mexican delegation.

There was controversy over the gloves between both teams since Shinsuke wants to use Cleto Reyes, but Nery will use the Winning brand.
