WBC world bantamweight champion Luis Nery reiterated that he will knock out Japan's Shinsuke Yamanaka for a second time when they collide in the rematch bout scheduled for next Thursday, March 1, in Tokyo, Japan.

The second match between Nery (25-0, 19 kos) and Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19 kos) will be held at the Sumo Stadium in the Kokugikan neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan, and Azteca 7, La Casa del Boxeo, will broadcast the bout.

Nery secured a knockout in the fourth round on August 15 in Kyoto, Japan over Yamanaka to capture the WBC world title. The sanctioning body ordered an immediate rematch after Nery tested positive for a banned substance due to his consumption of contaminated meat.

"The rematch is worth it for what Yamanaka did as a champion, but now it is my time. I will show him that it wasn't luck to helped me beat him. Here we are again in his house and I will knock him out. I do not know if it will happen in the first or the last round, but I will win by knockout," said the 23-year-old Tijuana native during a training session before Japanese media at the Teiken gym in Tokyo, Japan.

"I am a clean, healthy fighter, I have never cheated, in Mexico there is no strict sanitary control of the meat, but in this preparation all of my food was purchased in San Diego, California and also organic," explained Tijuana and added. "I've come here to clear my name, which they mistakenly stained for the alleged doping, it is honor for myself and I will win at whatever it costs and convincingly."
