CAROLINA, PUERTO RICO- Former two time world champion Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez said that he is ready to show the world that he will become world champion again and he wants to show it this Saturday, when he faces Aldimar Silva Santos at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) presentation in association with Top Rank, to be broadcasted live and exclusively on DIRECTV Pay Per View in Puerto Rico and the United States.

Besides Juanma Lopez, will be in action world contenders Jose “Chelo” Gonzalez, McWilliams Arroyo, McJoe Arroyo, Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez and hot prospect Felix “Diamante” Verdejo in his Puerto Rico’s debut, all six bouts in the DIRECTV Pay Per View show.

Juanma Lopez (31-2, 28 KOs), a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) superbantamweight and featherweight champion, will headline the card facing Silva Santos (18-3, 9 KOs), from Brazil, in a fight scheduled to 10 rounds in 128 pounds. Lopez is actually the #5 ranked by the WBO in the featherweight division.

"I feel so good, in good condition for this return to the ring. I look forward to fight again, but I’m focus in this fight because I know that this is an important fight for my future”, Lopez said. “I want to show that I’ll be a world champion again, but I don’t know the weight for my future. After this fight I tell you if I continue at 126 or 130 pounds”.

For Lopez this is his first fight since March, 2012, when he lost by TKO against Orlando Salido, being suspended for one year for a bad comment against the referee Roberto Ramirez Sr. But the Sports Secretary in Puerto Rico, Henry Neumann, pardoned Lopez and he will fight this February, 2, in Bayamon, in a bout scheduled to 10 rounds in 128 pounds.

While, the WBO #1 lightweight ranked and WBO Latino lightweight champion, Jose “Chelo” Gonzalez (21-0, 16 KOs), will fight against Mexican Alejandro “Soma” Rodriguez (18-8, 10 KOs) for his 10 round scheduled fight. Rodriguez is coming to Puerto Rico this afternoon.

McJoe Arroyo (11-0, 6 KOs), a former 2008 Olympian and 2007 Amateur World Championship bronze medalist, will face now Felipe Rivas (14-11-1, 8 KOs) for the IBF Latino superflyweight title replacing former IBF superflyweight champion Rodrigo “Gatito” Guerrero who can’t fly to Puerto Rico for visa issues. McJoe is the WBO #9 ranked in the superflyweight division.

While the WBO Youth flyweight champion and WBO flyweight #12 ranked, Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez (11-0, 10 KOs) will fight against Omar Salado (23-5-2, 14 KOs) for the WBO Latino flyweight title bout scheduled to 10 rounds.

Also in the show, 2008 Olympian and 2009 Amateur World Champion, McWilliams Arroyo (13-1, 11 KOs), the #6 WBO and #14 IBF ranked in the flyweights, will fight against a new rival, Raul Hidalgo (19-7, 15 KOs) after former world champion Sonny Boy Jaro withdraw because he is sick. This bout is scheduled to 10 rounds in a 113 pounds maximum.

And, 2012 Olympian, Felix “Diamante” Verdejo (2-0, 1 KOs) will make his Puerto Rico debut when he faces Jose Santiago (2-3, 2 KOs) in a 132 pounds fight scheduled to four rounds. Verdejo is coming of a December, 2012, unanimous decision win over Leonardo Chavez in Las Vegas and a spectacular :21 seconds KO victory last Saturday in New York over Tomy Archambault.

In four rounds fights, unbeaten John Karl Sosa (4-0, 4 KOs) will face Daniel Rodriguez (1-7-1, 1 KOs) in 150 pounds; Emmanuel “Manny” Rodriguez (3-0, 3 KOs) will fight against Manuel Galaviz (6-9, 3 KOs) in 115 pounds, and Jomar Ortiz (2-0, 2 KOs) will face Eliezer Agosto (1-1, 1 KOs) in 115 pounds.

The DIRECTV Pay Per View ($39.95) broadcast will start at 8:00 p.m. ET.
