BAYAMÓN, PUERTO RICO – Former world champions Juan Manuel “Juanma” López and Román “Rocky” Martínez, and super bantamweight contender Jonathan “Polvo” Oquendo are in great shape. All three fighters were in topr form during the first pre-weigh in for their regional titles bouts for the event "Triple Crown III" to be held at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on October 1st, in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) and Top Rank Inc. presentation to be televised on “Pay Per View”.

López (30-1, 27 KOs), former in 122 and 126 pounds World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion, who will fight Mike "Machine Gun" Oliver (25-2, 8 KOs) for the featherweight WBO Latino Title, and weighed 138 pounds of a 144.9 maximum allowed by the Puerto Rican Boxing Commision.

“I'm at a great weight because I'm taking a good diet and my training is so hard at this moment. I'm going to be in great condition for this fight", Lopez said.

Meanwhile, “Rocky” Martínez (24-1-1, 15 KOs), former WBO junior lightweight champion, weighed 142 pounds of a 149.5 maximum. Martinez will return after a year out of the ring when he faces Mexican Ramón Maas (25-1, 15 KOs) for the 130lb WBO Intercontinental Title.

For the the other title bout, “Polvo” Oquendo (21-2, 14 KOs), ranked at #3 at 122lb, will face the WBO's #1 ranked boxer at super bantamweight, Sod Looknongyantoy from Thailand (51-2-1, 21KOs) for the WBO Latino title. Oquendo weighed 136 pounds of a 140.3 maximum.

After the pre-weigh-in, the fighters were training had at the Wilfredo Gomez Arena Gym in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
