In the VIP room of Cinemex Antara Polanco in Mexico City, Mexican brothers Juan Manuel and Rafael Marquez, accompanied by their trainers Nacho Beristain and Daniel Zaragoza, respectively, and the president of Zanfer Promotions Fernando Beltran, Secretary of Tourism in Quinata Roo Juan Carlos Gonzalez and Rodrigo Fernandez, who is director of Azteca 7, were all present when the Marquez brothers announced their upcoming fights on July 16 at Plaza de Toros in Cancun, Quintana Roo.

Juan Manuel (52-5-1, 38 KOs), 37, will face Colombian Likar Ramos (24-3, 18 KOs), while Rafael (39-6, 35 KOs) will appear in the co-feature. The event, called 'Dynamite Pura'en, will showcase two of the most successful brothers in boxing.

"This fight (against Ramos) is not just for me to prepare, there are a lot of things. It's been five years since I fought next to my brother and that motivates me, and I will probably get better prepared than expected for the third fight with Manny Pacquiao," said Juan Manuel Marquez.

"He knows who beat him twice and this time there will be no controversy. Either I win by knockout, or he knocks me out, and yes I will be fighting with intelligence," he said.

Rafael, for his part, needs to win on July 16, to finalize an October 1 clash with WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka in Las Vegas

"I'm returning from a layoff that served me well. This will be the fight before the fight with Nishioka. I'll get well prepared to avoid any surprises, and surely the public will be happy with this performance," said Rafael.

The Marquez brothers fight together in Mexico for the first time since August 2006. Tickets for the fight go on sale Friday through TicketMaster. The evening will be transmitted on Azteca 7.
