Former world champion Juan Francisco ¨Gallo¨ Estrada of Mexico is training hard in Hermosillo, Sonora for the expected battle against WBC super flyweight world champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand.

The contest take place on February 24 at the Inglewood Forum, California.

Estrada (36-2, 25 KOs) and Rungvisai (43-4-1, 39 KOs) is scheduled for twelve rounds and headlines the Superfly 2 event, which is being televised on HBO.

Juan Francisco has been preparing since last December and entering the month of January he intensified the work sessions in the areas of cardio and strength exercises with the entire team headed by his coach Alfredo Caballero.

"We are doing very well in the preparation, a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of good vibes and motivation to the top, I am fully aware of what it means to defeat Rungvisai and I will do it, I will impose my style, my intelligence and my pride of being Mexican," said Estrada at the gym located in the Colonia Jardines in Hermosillo.

Sor Rungvisai had a memorable 2017 by surprising Román "Chocolatito" González to snatch the WBC title on March 18, after a controversial decision at Madison Square Garden in New York and then knocked out Gonzalez to retain his belt on September 9 in a rematch that headlined the first edition of Superfly at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

The Mexican and former world champion Fly Juan Francisco Estrada achieved a spectacular triumph over Carlos Cuadras on September 9 at the StubHub in Carson.
