Back in November, George won a ten round split decision in a fight that many felt could have gone the other way.

George landed a solid right as the first round got underway. George was boxing well for the first two minutes, before Escudero turned up the pressure and began to get some shots in. Both had their moments in the second and third. Escudero was busier and seemed to land the more meaningful shots.

Escudero continued to push the pace in the fourth and was landing quite a few big punches to the body. More of the same in the fifth, George landing as well but one punch at a time. More of the same in the sixth and seventh.

During the ninth, the action was playing out in the same manner - when all of a sudden George landed a huge uppercut that knocked Escudero down and out. The fight was waved off after the full count was issued.
