Former three time world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (57-9, 48KOs) is ready for battle on Saturday night with Japan's Kazuki Hashimoto in Morelia for the WBC International super featherweight title.

As previously reported, Jhonny made some changes to his team. After seven years, he is no longer led by Hall of Fame trainer Ignacio 'Nacho' Beristáin. He is now being supervised by Fermín Hernández at the Diaz Miron Gym.

Gonzalez is trying to recover after his April knockout loss to Gary Russell Jr. His ultimate aim is to secure a fight with formidable WBC super featherweight champion Takashi Miura of Japan.

Gonzalez had no issues with the weight, coming in at 130-pounds, while Hashimoto (11-4, 7 KOs) was 129.6-pounds.
