Barclays Center, Brooklyn - WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (30-0, 22 KOs) stopped a very game Dennis Hogan (28-3-1, 7 KOs) in the seventh round. (photos by Stephanie Trapp)

Hogan's style was giving Charlo a lot of trouble in the first round. He was busier and landing often enough. In the second, Charlo was attempting to cut off the ring and was starting to land more often, but Hogan was certainly in the fight. Hogan continued to frustrate Charlo with his style in the third.

Early in the fourth, Charlo landed a huge uppercut that sent Hogan down hard. Hogan made it up and was fighting off Charlo - who was looking for the big finish.

Charlo was controlling the fifth and landing well in the sixth. At the start of the seventh, Charlo dropped Hogan hard for the second time. Hogan made it up but he appeared to be too hurt for the referee to allow him to continue.
