Jamal James and Javier Molina both made weight for their welterweight clash Tuesday evening at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California.

James came in right at the divisional limit of 147 lbs. Molina was slightly lighter at 146.8 lbs.

The bout serves as the marquee attraction for the next installment of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox Sports 1 (11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT).

James (18-0, 9KOs) enjoyed a successful PBC debut in his last start, a 10-round decision over Juan Carlos Abreu in their Bounce TV headliner last September. The unbeaten boxer from Minneapolis overcame a fluke knockdown (the result of tripping over his opponent's foot) to score a legit knockdown of his own in earning his 18th straight win.

Molina (17-1, 8KOs) enjoys home field advantage of sorts as he hails from Norwalk, California. Honoring his heritage, he represented Mexico in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, with his twin brother, unbeaten super welterweight prospect Oscar Molina doing the same in the 2012 London Olympics.

The 26-year old comes in having won eight straight since suffering the lone loss of his career. However, his pro career has yet to live up to his lofty amateur credentials and steps up in competition level in this clash.
