Pittsburgh, PA - In front of a massive crowd of local media and fans, Boxing Legend and head of Iron Mike Productions, MIKE TYSON held court at the Final Press Conference for “The Pride of Pittsburgh II” set for Friday night, November 14 at CONSOL Energy Center.

In great spirits Tyson jokingly asked each fighter to stop thanking him during their time at the podium, “Get the knockout, trust me I’ll come over and thank you tomorrow night.”

Tempers flared as each main event fighter, “Sensational” SAMMY VASQUEZ JR. and ALBERTO “Metraletta” MOSQUERA gave their takes on tomorrow night’s 10-round main event with neither fighter backing down from the war of words.

MOSQUERA: “I will beat you right here in your hometown, in front of all your fans I will knock you out and show that you are not on my level. You’re only undefeated because you’ve been fighting bums. I will show no mercy tomorrow night and I will destroy you.”

VASQUEZ JR.: “You’ve been knocked out before and you’ll be knocked out again tomorrow night. I’ve stopped my last seven opponents and you’ll be the eighth in a row. Come and get it pal.”

The other four TV fighters were also very confident heading into battle.

MONTY MEZA CLAY: “I only speak the truth, we’re 24 hours away and the time for talking is over, come tomorrow night I’m taking care of business.”

ROD SALKA: “I’m very blessed to be fighting on this card, I’ve known Monty for years and it’s going to be a great fight tomorrow night.”

ERICKSON LUBIN: “I’m glad to be back in Pittsburgh. This is my last match of 2014 but you can tell the junior middleweight division I’m coming and 2015 is going to be huge for me.”

NORBERTO GONZALEZ: ‘Thanks to Iron Mike Productions for putting me on the show. I’m better than Lubin and I’ll prove it in the ring tomorrow night.”

“The Pride of Pittsburgh II” is headlined by a 10-round WBC FECARBOX Welterweight Title clash between Pittsburgh’s SAMMY “The Who Can Mexican” VASQUEZ JR., 16-0-0 (12KO’s), and Panamanian veteran ALBERTO “Metralleta” MOSQUERA, 21-1-2 (14KO’s).
