The WBA's interim-champion at super bantamweight, Cuban star Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux, continues to train intensely in The Heavyweight Factory GYM in Hollywood, Fla. He trains through the holidays, with his next fight coming in three weeks against the WBA's full champion Rico “Suavecito” Ramos on January 20th.

"We are in the most intense stage of the training camp, and the physical load in every sparring session is important to obtain what we are looking for," Ismael Salas said, when Rigondeaux finished ten intense rounds of sparring against lightweight Hevison Herrra on Christmas Eve.

“We are ready to finish this fight early. However, we will come prepared to fight for rounds” Rigondeaux said. “Ramos is a great champion and on January 20th the fans will see a war and we will be prepared to win by KO or decision."
