The fans and media were ready and waiting, as four-time heavyweight world title challenger Andrew Golota (41-8-1, 33 KOs), and former European champion Przemyslaw Saleta (43-7, 21 KOs), arrived at the airport. The two boxers will attend a press conference on January 7th at the Marriott Hotel in Warsaw, Poland - where the fighters will announce their showdown on February 23rd at Ergo Arena in Gdansk. The fight is going to be a retirement match for both, and the card will be televised in Poland on “Polsat" via pay-per-view system.

Golota has been inactive since his 5th round TKO loss to Tomasz Adamek in October of 2009. Saleta’s last boxing fight took place in February of 2006 when he beat inexperienced American Ed Perry by unanimous decision.
