Fres Oquendo (37-7, 24KOs) will challenge former two-time champion Ruslan Chagaev (32-2-1, 20KOs) on July 6th for the vacant World Boxing Association 'regular' heavyweight crown. Oquendo came in at 222-pounds and Chagavez was 244-pounds. The title became vacant after Wladimir Klitschko, the WBA's super champion, defeated 'regular' champion Alexander Povetkin last year when they met in a sanctioning body unification.
