Javier Fortuna and Carlos Velasquez made weight for their super featherweight showdown but had to be reminded to save it for the ring as tempers flared during the obligatory staredown pose.

Both fighters weighed in right at the 130 lb. divisional limit for the headlining act at The Palms in Las Vegas, with Fox Sports 1 to televise as part of Premier Boxing Champions' PBC: Toe-to-Toe Tuesdays series.

Fighting pride between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico was on full display afterward, with the two jawing at each other and Fortuna at one point extended his left arm and shoving his challenger.

The matter never escalated beyond that, as both combatants were immediately restrained. Fortuna had to be given an additional reminder to show some class.

Also on the telecast, Domonique Dolton and Oscar Molina collide in a matchup of unbeaten super welterweights.

Dolton tipped the scales at 153.6 lbs. for his first televised appearance under the PBC banner, with his previous two fights in 2015 taking place off-camera. Molina weighed in at 153 lbs. for a fight he has dedicated to his former promoter, the late Dan Goossen.
