BRONX, NY - Just weeks before hs engagement on June 13 in the city of New York, Puerto Rican prospect Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo visited "The Big Apple" to share a good time with his fans during a public workout at the Bronx Cultural Festival. Photos by Rich Villa.

 

During the activity, Verdejo conducted interviews with local media, posed for hundreds of pictures, signed over a hundred autographs, he addressed the audience from the main stage of the event and held a light training session to the delight of the faithful.

On the undercard will feature the featherweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA) Nicholas "The Axe Man" Walters (25-0, 21 KOs), of Jamaica, who will defend his title against world ranked Miguel "The Scorpion Marriaga (20-0, 18 KOs) of Colombia.

 

These four gladiators have a perfect 78-0 record (60 KOs), which includes knockout victories at a rate of 77% combined record. Both bouts will be televised live on HBO Boxing After Dark®, beginning at 10:00 pm ET / PT.
