Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio, California - Deontay Wilder (29-0, 29KOs) demolished former WBO heavyweight champion Sergei Liakhovich (25-6, 16KOs) in less than two minutes when his right hand crushed Liakhovich. The former champ went down and started shaking on the floor as the referee waved things off and called in the medical team.

In a battle of undefeated super featherweights,  Francisco Vargas (17-0-1, 13KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Brandon Bennett (16-1, 7KOs). The scores were 99-91, 99-90 and 98-92. Vargas cut above left eye in the fifth round from a head clash, but he wasn't too affected by the injury. He was very aggressive and landed the harder shots, outworking Bennett in the majority of the rounds.

Jermall Charlo (15-0, 11KOs) stopped Antwone Smith (23-5-1, 12KOs) in the second round. Charlo controlled the fight with his jab and then ripped Smith to the head with two right hands in the second to send him down. Smith got up on very unsteady legs, which made the referee wave off the contest.
