Mexico's David "Tornado" Sanchez and former champion Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion of Panama threw verbal jabs at each other during the final press conference at a restaurant in Hermosillo.

The fight takes place on Saturday night, with Sanchez (28-2-2, 22 KOs) defending his interim super flyweight championship of the World Boxing Association (WBA) Concepcion (32-4, 23 KOs) in the main event of a Zanfer Promotions card from the Multipurpose Center. The card will be televised by Azteca 7, Azteca America and Bein Sports.

"Conception has a style that I like. He comes forward and looks for a fight. We are ready to stop him with all of my might and intelligence," Sanchez said.

Concepcion countered - "Tornado has the style which is going to allow me to knock him out. I'm ready to win, I'm going in there with everything from the first round. We will sizzle in the ring. God gave me the opportunity to once again contest a title and I will not fail."

In the co-main, Hermosillo's Julio Barraza (16-0, 13 KOs) will go against Adrian Young (22-1-2, 18 KO's) of Los Mochis in a fight where once again both fighters believe the contest will end in a knockout.
