O2 Arena, London - In a high stakes heavyweight contest. Olympic bronze medal winner David Price (25-6, 20 KOs) put in one of the best performances of his career with a ten round stoppage of David Allen (17-5-2, 14 KOs). (photos by Mark Robinson, Dave Thompson)

A slow start in the first round, with both boxers looking for openings. Price was focused on his jab and landing something solid behind it. Allen was more geared to dig down to the body.

In the third, Price continued to keep Allen at bay with a stiff jab and was following that up with harder punches when the openings were present.

Allen was able to land more punches during the fourth round, but Price was still very much in the fight and was landing that jab. Price was doing much better in the sixth, jabbing and landing hard shot when Allen came inside.

Price was working Allen over in the seventh, with a hard jab and big uppercuts. In the eight, there was damage around the eyes of Allen after he was being tagged by Price.

At the end of the tenth round, Allen was pretty busted up and told his corner that he was unable to continue further and the contest was waved off.
