IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green and American challenger Antonio Tarver have displayed impressive physiques as they prepare for Wednesday's world title bout at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. While there was a whisper beforehand that 42-year-old Tarver might struggle to make the weight, it was the 38-year-old champion who was closer to the limit. Both men came in under the 90kg limit [200-pound] with Green marginally the heavier.

"He's been foxing all the way through this camp so, when the bell goes tomorrow night, that's when it really counts," Green said.

The Green camp wasn't surprised at how strong Tarver looked.

"I knew he (Tarver) was in good nick and he would want to be in good nick if he is going to stand up to what Greeny is going to dish out to him," Green's trainer Angelo Hyder told AAP.

Multiple world light heavyweight champion Tarver said he was never going to weigh in over the limit because of his professionalism.

"That's my responsibility, to come ready to fight and I'm here and putting everybody on notice I'm ready to fight. Danny Green is in for the fight of his life," Tarver said.
