Zanfer Promotions and Box presented a press conference to announce the return of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - who is scheduled to return on December 10 at the Arena Monterrey and will be sponsored by Tecate.

Chavez Jr (49-2-1, 32 KOs) will face Germany's Dominik Britsch (32-2-1, 11 KOs) in a ten round super middleweight contest, as the headline fight of a twelve bout event.

Chavez Jr, his father and living legend Julio César Chávez González, his physical trainer Guillermo Heredia, Dominki Britsch, his father Julián Britsch, the executive director of Zanfer, Juan Carlos Torres and Guillermo Brito the Operating director of Zanfer.

Chavez Jr returns to the ring after a year of inactivity. His last match was on July 18, 2015 when he defeated Marcos "Dorado" Reyes whom he defeated by decision.

"I am very excited about returning to boxing and more so in Mexico. I wanted a good opponent like Britsch for my return. It will surely be a great fight for the fans, my absence from the ring a year was due to several factors: I fractured a hand, then there were some promotional issues with getting the fight together, but that is all behind me," Chavez Jr. said.

Britsch said he has not doubt that he will beat Chavez Jr. when they collide in Arena Monterrey.
