San Juan, Puerto Rico - On August 19 at the Auditorio Juan "Pachin" Vicens, the event "Under Fire" will take place. This card is presented by Universal Promotions and promises nine exciting fights with the best prospects that the island has to offer.

This billboard is one of the best to be made in Puerto Rico in a long time," said the promoter Javier Bustillo, president of Universal Promotions.

The main event will be staged in the super flyweight division, with Cesar Seda Jr (20-1, 15KO's) facing Olympic gold medalist Yan Barthelemy (12-2, 4KO's).

"I trained very hard to return to the 'ring' and to come back strong and to give a great show. Barthelemy is a great fighter, very experienced, who always gives everything in the 'ring'. I know I will give a great show," said Seda, Jr., boxer born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.

The event will showcase the gold medalist from the last Central American and Caribbean Games, Jose "Sniper" Pedraza (3-0, 3KO's), who faces Javier Ramos (3-6-0). The boxer, 22, who made his professional debut in February of this year, and retruns from a first round KO win on June 10 in New York.

"I've been training really hard for this fight because it's my first fight back in Puerto Rico. I want to show my island that I have the tools to become a world champion and give glory to my island," said Pedraza, fighter represented by Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

Te co-feature will Eliezer "Waa" Gonzalez (12-0, 7KO's), when he faces hard-hitting Jeffrey Acevedo (8-1-0, 7KO's) in his toughest fight so far.

"This is my strongest bout and I'm ready for it. I know that Jeffrey is a great fighter, and for that reason I will prepare hard for victory, "said González, boxer represented by Universal Promotions.

Over six rounds, Kelvin Galarza (5-1-1, 1KO) will faces Edgardo Rivera (5-1-1) at 135.

In four rounds, meanwhile, Hector Rosario (6-1-2, 4KO's) will face Norberto Ashanti (0-3-0) at 160 pounds, Jeffrey Montanez (2-0, 2KO's) will face a rival mentioned later at 132 pounds, Jorge Melendez (19-2, 19KO's) will face hard-hitting Colombian Richard Gutierrez (26-7-1, 16KO's) at 154 pounds, and in a matchup of rookies Edgar Laboy faces Luis Cintron in a fight at 122 pounds.
