Unbeaten welterweight Carlos Ocampo will fight Daniel Echevarria on Saturday night, Zanfer Promotions liaison and matchmaker Sean Gibbons told BoxingScene.com Friday morning.

The 10 round bout will take place at the Gimnasio Municipal Gustavo Diaz Ordaz in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico.

Ocampo (20-0, 12 KOs) was victorious in his last bout on August 20, grinding out a 10 round unanimous decision over Alvaro Robles.

Ocampo, who resides in Ensenada and is ranked number eight by the IBF, has defeated the likes of Jorge Paez, Jr. and Johnny Navarrete.

Echevarria (19-3, 17 KOs) suffered his first loss as a pro to Paez in August of 2015. He followed that fight with a technical knockout win over Abner Lopez five months later.

His most recent, notable loss was a third round knockout defeat to Fernando Carcamo on February 13.

Lightweight Carlos Diaz Ramirez (21-0, 10 KOs) will take on Gabriel Pina (14-12-5, 6 KOs) in a 10 round bout. The fight will open the Azteca TV telecast.
