Although most of the Mexicans were celebrated the 'Day of The Dead,' Saul "Canelo" Alvarez did not stop training because in three weeks he defends his WBC 154-pound title against Puerto Rican puncher Kermit Cintron, taking place on the 26th of November at the Expo Bancomer Santa Fe, located in Mexico City. Alvarez was training this week in the capital of Jalisco.

He wakes up early, going straight to his morning run and then he goes right to the gym. Chepo and Edison Reynoso oversee his daily work. On Thursday Alvarez will begin sparring with Japan's Nobuhiro Ishida. In the meantime, he devotes most of his time to perfecting the strategy that he plans to use to defeat Cintron.
