Mendoza was having a tough time reaching the much taller Fundora, who was pushing forward and jabbing to push his man back.

In the fourth, Fundora really began to do damage with big shots on the inside and had Mendoza in some trouble.

In the seventh round, Mendoza caught Fundora with a huge left hook that hurt him badly. He followed up with a series of heavy blows to send Fundora down and out for the full count of ten.
