The joint-main event on the show, WBO World Super-Welterweight Champion Liam Smith and undefeated challenger Jimmy Kelly also weighed-in.

Liverpool ace Smith was spot on the weight at 11st and looked strong for his maiden title defence against his bitter rival.

Unbeaten Manchester challenger Kelly, coming into the fight a big underdog, was just under the weight at 10st 13lbs, but he’s in the mood to cause an upset.

Smith said, “No problems at all with my weight, bang on 11st and ready to smash Kelly to bits for all his talk,”

Kelly added, “For a world title fight tomorrow night I’m pretty calm about it! I can’t wait, I’m not making any promises or threats, but upsets can happen.”
