Taking advantage of Golden State Warriors' home stretch, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant visited fellow Roc Nation Sports athlete Andre Ward at his training camp on Wednesday, as he prepares for upcoming fight of the year, Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward "Pound For Pound" on Nov. 19 at T-Mobile Arena, distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View.
Leading up to the highly anticipated light heavyweight unification championship battle between Sergey Kovalev and Andre Ward – set for Saturday, November 19 and presented live by HBO Pay-Per-View® – HBO Sports will present the exclusive replay of two “pound-for-pound” sterling performances that highlight the prominent ring presence and accomplished skills of these competitors.
On Friday, November 11 at 11:05 p.m. (ET/PT) and Saturday, November 12 at 8:50 a.m. (ET/PT), HBO2 will replay Hopkins vs. Kovalev 2014 and Ward vs. Dawson 2012 back-to-back. On November 8, 2014, in Atlantic City, “Krusher” Kovalev delivered a message to the boxing community worldwide with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Bernard Hopkins, one of the most revered and talented fighters, who is destined for the Hall of Fame. On August 9, 2012, in Oakland, Ward re-affirmed that he was among boxing’s elite fighters, bringing Dawson to his knees by delivering a convincing 10th round knockout.
Both fights will also be available 24 hours a day to HBO NOW, HBO On Demand® and HBO GO® subscribers beginning.
Kovalev vs. Ward takes place Saturday, November 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT.
