Imam is also recovering from his first career defeat. He was the mandatory challenger to WBC champion Viktor Postol and made a decision to take a stay-busy bout with Adrian Granados last November. Things did not go as planned. After Imam dominated the action early, he ran out of gas and was stopped in the eight round of action.
