In a battle for family pride, Ramón ¨Inocente¨ Álvarez won a ten round unanimous decision over Omar ¨Businessman¨ Chávez before a crowd of 7,000 fans at Palenque de la Feria. The scores were 96-94, 96-94  and 98-92 for Ramón Álvarez. 

Álvarez (20-4-2, 12 KO’s) is the older brother of Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and Omar (33-3-1, 22KOs) is the younger brother of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and son of Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. With the victory Ramon picks up the NABO super welterweight championship and gets a boost in the rankings for a world title shot.
