BANGKOK, Thailand - Emeritus champion Edgar Sosa, and WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, are right on target for Friday's showdown in Bangkok, Thailand. Both boxers were fine at the pre-fight weigh-in, where Sosa weighed 116 pounds and the champion Wonjongkam was 117 pounds.

The promoter of the event Piyarat Vachirarattanawongse is considering a change of arena due to the heavy rain that has devastated Bangkok. The current venue is the 11st Infantry Arena and if the rain doesn't stop they will have to move to the legendary Lumpini Stadium which is located close to downtown Bangkok.

At the pre weigh-in Sosa was wearing shorts and socks, which indicates that he doesn't have any problems with the scale and will easily get down to the 112 pound flyweight limit. Edgar also had time to eat well, with a meal filled with vegetables, fruit, rice, meat and strawberry ice cream.
