The weights are in for this Sunday’s world championship showdown between WBO middleweight titleholder Dmitry Pirog (18-0, 14 KOs) and his WBO mandatory counterpart Gennady Martirosyan (22-2, 11 KOs). Pirog weighed in at 159.8-pounds, while the much shorter Russia-based Armenian tipped the scales at 158-pounds. Pirog vs. Martirosyan will be the first ever all-Russian title fight, with a boxer-puncher facing a slugger. The event starts at 7:30 PM LT at Olympic Sports Hall in Krasnodar, Russia.
