Weights are set for tomorrow's important cruiserweight showdown at EWS Arena in Goeppingen, Germany, between former world champion Firat Arslan (32-5-1, 21 KOs) and hard-hitting Russian Alexander Alekseev (23-2, 20 KOs), for the vacant WBO I/C title as well as for the Russian's EBU belt. Arslan, already 41, weighed in at 198.5 pounds, while once again highly regarded and highly ranked (WBO #3, WBC #5 and WBA/IBF #7) Alekseev was 199, half a pound heavier than his WBC #14 opponent.

On the same card, another Russian cruiserweight force Rakhim Chakhkiev (13-0, 10 KOs) will test his power against genuine upset artist Zack Page (21-38-2, 7 KOs), and former 190lb king Juan Carlos Gomez (50-3, 38 KOs) will look for yet another victory against rough Ukrainian Maxim Pedyura (14-5-1, 11 KOs). Universim Box-Promotion co-organizes the show with Erol Ceylan.
