At their final media event, Colombian veteran Ronald Barrera (31-11-2, 19 KOs) went face to face with WBA junior flyweight champion Román "Chocolatito "Gonzalez (34-0, 28 KOs). The two boxers will collide on Saturday night at the Polideportivo Espana in Managua, Nicaragua. The fight will take place in the flyweight division, as Gonzalez tests the waters at 112-pounds.

"I did my job in the gym, I was offered the fight with 'Chocolatito' and I accepted without hesitation. It's a good opportunity to face a world champion. I know I'm a stranger to him, but on Saturday he will have an opponent who faced good fighters and I repeat, he will not have it easy with me," Barrera adds.
