Former world champion Marcos "El Chino" Maidana is ready and confident for his rematch with Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. The two of them will battle on September 13th for the World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight titles a the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather (46-0, 26 KOs) won a twelve round majority decision over Maidana (35-4, 31 KOs) in May of this year.

Maidana says he is sparring with Steve Forbes, a former world super featherweight champion with a record of 35 wins, 13 losses and 11 knockouts, Puerto Rico's Thomas Dulorme, who is the current NABF junior welterweight champion with a record of 21 wins, 14 of these by knockout with only 1 defeat, and undefeated two-division champion Miguel Angel "Mikey" Garcia, who has an undefeated record of 34 wins with 28 of these by knockout.
