The scene is set for the biggest night of boxing in the history of Nizhny Tagil, an industrial town in Ural Mountains, Russia. Sergey Trofimov of LTD RAT will combine his efforts with the World of Boxing, Russia’s top promotional company, to stage a nine-fight card with an interim major belt at stake in the main event.

Topping the card is the WBA #1 light heavyweight Dmitry Bivol (8-0, 6 KOs), who will risk his WBA interim belt for the first time against hard-nosed New Zealander Robert Berridge (29-5-1, 21 KOs).

Paired with Bivol is his old amateur teammate Sergey Kuzmin (8-0,5 KOs), who will take on Vaclav Pejsar (11-3, 9 KOs) of the Czech Republic in a bid for the WBC Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council heavyweight crown.

Tonight prime contestants stepped up to the scale to known their weights:

Bivol 174.4 vs. Berridge 174.2

Kuzmin 251.3 vs. Pejsar 232.1

Also on the card is featherweight hopeful Valery Tretyakov (8-0, 3 KOs) against Filipino Eugene Lagos (11-2-2, 7 KOs) and the other two young featherweights Evgueny Smirnov (8-0, 2 KOs) and Nikita Kuznetsov (6-0, 3 KOs) competing for a vacant national title.
