Iron Mike Productions plans to put on a boxing card on March 7 in Washington, D.C., featuring separate bouts with local lightweight Anthony Peterson, a returning Joan Guzman, and touted prospect Erickson Lubin.

That’s according to Iron Mike matchmaker Chris Middendorf, as well as Henry Rivalta, who manages Lubin and works closely with Iron Mike Productions.

“Mike Tyson wants to come back to Washington really bad. He loves this city. Him and [partner] Gary Jonas have decided this will be the best place for him,” Rivalta told BoxingScene.com. “I’m very excited about it. I’m very happy, because I have a lot of fighters I manage now who will be on the card.”

Peterson is 32-1 with 21 knockouts and last fought in May 2013, when he stopped Dominic Salcido. The 28-year-old D.C. native is expected to face Francisco Contreras, who is 29 years old with a record of 21-4 (16 KOs), and is coming off a first-round knockout loss in November to Jorge Linares.

Anthony Peterson was initially slated to be on the Jan. 25 undercard to Lamont Peterson’s fight against Dierry Jean, but he withdrew in favor of what his team said was a better opportunity.

Guzman, 37, is 33-1-1 with 20 KOs and 1 no contest. He hasn’t fought since November 2012, when he dropped a technical decision to junior welterweight Khabib Allakhverdiev. He is expected to face Javier Castro, a 30-year-old who is 27-6 with 22 KOs.

Lubin, 18, is 2-0 (2 KOs) but is expected to have two more appearances prior to this bout. He is expected to face Angel Martinez, a 22-year-old who is 13-5-1 with 9 KOs.
