Petch CPFreshmart could be on course to secure the best record in boxing history. The 24 year old has an opportunity to move up to 48-0 and it is one you would expect him to take, against an inexperienced opponent with an uninspiring record.

Petch (47-0) is slated to face Saengchai Sithprayoon (3-6-1) at Rangsit Stadium on Friday afternoon (local time). The fight will be broadcast locally by Channel 7 and is set for a catchweight of 120lbs meaning the undefeated Thai fighter’s WBC Youth Bantamweight Title will not be on the line.

Also on that card undefeated Thai Singsayan CP Freshmart (15-0) is fighting Kong Kiatpracha (6-20-1) at a 117lbs catchweight. These fights are both scheduled for six rounds as is the 107lbs bout that pits Satanmuanglek CP Freshmart (8-0) against Indonesia’s Mektison Marganti (2-8-1).

There will be title fights on the card. Petchmanee Kokietgym (22-1) is defending his OPBF Silver Minimumweight Title for the first time against Stevanus Nana Bau (8-9-2). The Thai fighter’s sole defeat was inflicted by Chaozhong Xiong in China, a razor thin majority decision loss.
