In Strzelce Opolskie, Poland, cruiserweight Pawel Kolodziej (25-0, 14 KOs) scored a very impressive third round knockout of Mark Krence (24-6, 6 KO) to win the vacant WBF title. The first two rounds were in favor of Kolodziej, who had Krence feeling the power of his punches in both hands. In the third round, Kolodziej went to work with hard combinations to drop Krence. The ref allowed it to continue once Krence made it up to his feet. At that point Kolodziej began to really let his hands go and battered Krence until the ref jumped in to stop the fight.
