Former world champion Paul Spadafora (49-1-1, 19KOs) is currently in Las Vegas, and being trained by Kenny Porter, who is best known as the head trainer for his son, former welterweight champion Shawn Porter.

Spadafora, 39-years-old, suffered his first career defeat last November when lost a twelve round majority decision to then interim-WBA junior welterweight champion Johan Perez. He came back in July of this year, winning an easy eight round decision over veteran Hector Velazquez.

Kenny told BoxingScene.com that he wants Spadafora to return to action in January. Spadafora, who also spoke with BoxingScene, is very pleased with Kenny's training methods.
