Polish middleweight Patrick Majewski (21-2, 13 KOs) is training hard for his upcoming fight against the extremely dangerous Curtis Stevens (25-4, 18 KOs). The two fighters, both coming off defeats, will face each other in a crossroads fight on January 24th in Atlantic City.

Majewski lost a wide twelve round decision to Patrick Nielsen on September 7th in Denmark. Two months later, in New York City, Stevens was stopped in the eight round by WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.

"I did not hesitate a bit [in taking this fight]. I had my own terms, they agreed and the fight was made. Time does not stand still. Tomorrow I'm going to be 34 years old and I no longer have the luxury of waiting," Majewski said.

"We are working on using my advantage in arm reach. He is extremely explosive and dangerous, especially in the beginning. In the early rounds, I can not afford to make a mistake. I have to be extremely focused and attentive. I can't focus on whether or  Golovkin somehow changed him for the worse [with the beating]. I'm getting ready for the best version of Stevens."

"Stevens certainly falls short in the later rounds, but first have to make it to the later rounds. As [the later rounds] approach, I'll have him."
