Joseph Parker is expecting to face a boxer from the Klitschko stable on April 26th in Oberhausen, Germany.

The young Kiwi heavyweight is poised to be confirmed on the undercard for the world title fight between Vladamir Klitschko and Australian hope Alex Leapai.

Parker's trainer Kevin Barry is preparing him to fight Ukrainian Andriy Rudenko, who is unbeaten in 24 fights.

Barry is unhappy with the potential bout, believing Parker shouldn't be getting in the ring with an unbeaten, eight-year professional.

But he'll reluctantly accept whatever promoters Duco arrange.

"It's a very big ask for a young fighter who's 7-0 and who's just completed his first year as a professional fighter to fight a fighter of Redenko's capabilities."
