Another addition has been made to the Joseph Parker-Hughie Fury WBO World Heavyweight title undercard on September 23 in Manchester.

Josh ‘Outlaw’ Wale (24-9-2, 11 KOs) will make the first defence of his British Bantamweight title against former Commonwealth Super Flyweight champion Don Broadhurst (19-3-1, 4 KOs).

Wale, 29, won the vacant British title at the start of this month when he outpointed Jamie Wilson 116-112, 115-114 (twice) over 12 rounds. This came after the Yorkshireman won the English 118lbs strap back in March with a split decision victory over Ramesh Ahmadi, both wins coming in Doncaster.

Broadhurst, 33, is no stranger to domestic title fights having fought for Midlands, English, British and Commonwealth honours at Super Flyweight while contesting an English title at Flyweight as well.

The card will take place at the Manchester Arena with no official announcement yet on what UK television network it will be shown on.

Also on the bill are Shayne Singleton (23-2-1, 8 KOs) facing Peter McDonagh (27-28-1, 3 KOs) at welterweight while Joe Murray (21-2, 9 KOs) takes on Matty Fagan (11-2) in a British Lightweight title eliminator.
