NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Thailand  --  With far superior boxing skills, world champion  of Thailand outclassed and decisioned brave Japanese Challenger Norihito Tanaka (20-9, 10 KO’s), for a successful third defense of his WBC strawweight world title on Wednesday, August 31, in Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand.

Scores were wide and unanimous 118-110, 116-112 and 119-110 all in favor of the 31-year-old Pradabsri.

The taller Pradabsri (39-1, 23 KO’s), fighting from the middle distance landed a whole arsenal of telling punches on the strong warrior from The Land of the Rising Sun, not giving him the change to gain ground on the battle televised live in Thailand on True4U TV Channel 24.

There were no knockdowns nor cuts nor much holding in a clean fight handled with ease by experienced WBC referee Malcom Bulner of Melbourne, Australia.

The rumble was the 3rd world title defense for the skilled Pradabsri, who claimed the WBC strawweight crown in November of 2020 by scoring a unanimous decision over Wanheng Menayothin, a.k.a. Chayaphol Moonsri, and then months later decisioning him again in their rematch.

Supervisor for the WBC was Colonel Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, an officer of the Thai Royal Army.

The show was a production of Thailand’s legendary Boxing and Muay Thai outfit, Petchyindee Boxing Promotions (Diamond Boxing).
