Paipharob Kokietgym (18-0, 16KOS), the current Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA) minimumweight champion, beat Jack Amisa in Lopburi, Thailand. The Indonesian challenger Jack Amisa was very strong and had a good defensive technique but he couldn't compete with Thailand's “KO King”. After Paipharob’s heavy left hook hit Amia’s jaw in the first round, he couldn't stand up before referee reached the count of ten.

Mr. Kokiet Panichayarom, who is current the biggest boxing promoter in Thailand, is preparing him for a world championship fight.

“We will have WBA a minimumweight interim-title match between Paipharob and #8 ranked Jesus Sylvestre ( 23-2, 17KOs) of Mexico on November 7th.”

Mr. Kokiet revealed. “I am satisfied with the performance of Paipharob and strongly

believe he will be a world champion soon.”
