Manny Perez lands PPV fight.

Rocky Mountain Boxing is excited to announce that Denver's own, Manny Perez, has landed a bout on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley PPV on April 9th.

Perez will face undefeated prospect, Jose Ramirez.

Perez (25-11-1, 6 KO's) bounced back in 2015 with 3 impressive victories.  After losing to Victor Ortiz to end 2014, at 147lbs, Perez dropped down to a more comfortable weight of 135lbs.

The move paid off and quite possibly, saved his career.

At 135lbs, Perez would defeat former World Champion DeMarcus Corley in May, stopping him in the 6th round.  After disposing of Corley, Perez finished 2015 with victories over tough journeymen, Gerardo Robles and Ramesis Gil.

Perez is 5-1 over his last 6 fights.

In Ramirez, Perez will be facing one of boxing's most promising prospects.

Ramirez (16-0, 12 KO's) represented the United States at the 2012 Olympics.  As a professional, Ramirez has shown fight ending power while establishing a huge fan base. In his last ousting, Ramirez defeated Johnny Garcia in front of 13,000 people at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, CA.

Ramirez is one of Top Rank's brightest young fighters and is expected to win a world title one day.  Ramirez is the current WBC Continental Americas Super Lightweight title holder.

Perez vs Ramirez will take place at the MGM Grand Arena on the HBO PPV portion of Pacquiao-Bradley 3.
