Bayamón, PR - Featherweight (126 pounds), Luis "Orlando" Del Valle (23-3, 17KO's), who last December returned to the ring after more than a two year layoff, signed his signature on a promotional contract with Universal Promotions, and prepares to make his return to the ring on a date in the month of May.

 Del Valle has not fought in Puerto Rico in almost four years.

"Having Del Valle back in our squad fills us with enthusiasm," said Universal Promotions president Javier Bustillo. "Here we have a talented boxer with a desire to return to where he once was. His record shows the great quality he has. We are going to give him the necessary tools so that he can achieve his goals and take him to the great stages of world boxing. "

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old boxer, who is trained by Emilio "Millo" Lozada, said that "this signing with Universal Promotions is a new opportunity to advance my career. Del Valle will make his return to the Puerto Rican quadrilaterals in the month of May.
