"Operation Yory Boy" Means End of Top Rank

Published

ARUM AND COMPANY GUILTY OF “PIMPING!”

What I am going to lay out for you is how Promoter Bob Arum’s Top Rank “Pimped” off a non-English speaking fighter.  And before you think the verbiage I’ve employed, “Pimped,” that it is too harsh a word, sit back and get ready for a ride that will certainly blow your mind, and at the same time it should also affirm that the term is being correctly applied!

FOLLOW THE “EVIDENTIARY EXHIBITS” FOLKS!

I will lay out “Evidentiary Exhibits” # 1 through 5 for you to see just how Bob Arum and his underlings ripped off ex-IBF 154 lb. guy Ramon “Yory Boy” Campas.  They did it in such a manner that the late Mobster Frankie Carbo, reputedly the king of purse cutters, ole Frankie would be envious of.  And at the end of this story, I’ll ask you to send me an email as to whether “Massa’ Bob” Arum and Top Rank are “Guilty,” or “Not Guilty” of “Pimping Fighters!”

NOTHING BUT FACTS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS!

Let’s start out with a September 9, 1998 “Paycheck Stub” of which Yory Boy was getting $40,000 for his appearing underneath Oscar De La Hoya-Julio Cesar Chavez II.  From that $40 K, there was a $100 License Fee.  The IBF got a “Sanctioning Fee” of $1,500.  An additional $12,000 was taken out for the Internal Revenue Service.

$4,000 FOR A POST-FIGHT “URINE TEST!”

The post fight Urinalysis is itemized as “Anti-Doping.”  I called a Lab in San Francisco and said they could send somebody ‘First Class’ to Las Vegas to gather up, and then hand carry Campas’ urine back to their laboratory for $250 plus airfare!  Bob Arum’s people charged the non-English speaking Ramon Campas $4000, and for less!  Add $800 for the IBF “Pension,” and $45 for an HIV exam.  Yory ended up with $21,554.60.  To check these facts that are on Top Rank letterhead and Exhibit#1, then hit your “Return” arrow on your Browser and come back to continue.

PRICE OF CAMPAS URINE JUMPS ANOTHER 60%!

Originally promised $1 million, Ramon Campas ended up with a $300,000 purse for his May 3, 2003 fight with Oscar De La Hoya.  And according to the next piece of evidence, Exhibit #2 states Yory paid a License Fee of $25, before the WBC & WBA took $9,000 each for sanctioning fees ($18,000).  The IRS got $30,000.  A “WBA Manager’s Fee” of $1,000 was also deducted.  The last item on this Top Rank “Pay-Stub” is a deduction for $10,000 for “Anti-Doping” (See Urine again!).  Top Rank also deducted $30,000 for the IRS.  Hit this link for Exhibit #2 Pay Stub” and then hit your “Return” arrow on your Browser to come back to continue.

THE IRS SAYS TOP RANK IS FULL OF SPIT!

Hit the next link and read an IRS letter addressed to Ramon “Yory Boy” Campas dated December 2004 that says “Top Rank never gave them a dime” for any Taxes relating to Ramon Campas from 1995 to December of 2003!  Hit this “IRS Letter Link” Exhibit #3 and then hit your “Return” arrow on your Browser and come back to continue.

DETECTIVE PEDRO ONLY AT WWW.RINGTALK.COM

Next up, I’ll show you the actual paycheck “Yory Boy” got for the De La Hoya fight.  But before we go there, I want you to see the check Top Rank wrote for $180,000 and addressed it to “Star Trucking” of San Diego.  Having been unable to find a business named “Star Trucking” in San Diego, “Yory Boy” says he has no idea who is behind Star Trucking.  To see the “Top Rank to Star Trucking” check hit this link for Exhibit #4 and then hit your “Return” arrow on your Browser and come back to continue.

IS “STAR TRUCKING” BELTRAN, THE TOAD & MAURICIO?

Until I’m able to get into the San Diego County Records Division, I cannot confirm who the culprits are behind this mystery firm “Star Trucking.”  One source that begged anonymity said that he was under the impression that Star Trucking is a shell company set up by Tijuana Promoter Fernando Beltran.  And with Beltran comes the nagging suspicion of many that he and Top Rank VP Toad du Beof are partners in among other things, fighters and crime!  In addition to du Beof and Beltran, what about the relationship between this pair and the WBC’s Mauricio Sulaiman?

HERE’S “YORY BOY’S FINAL “OSCAR” PAYCHECK!

After this is all said and done, this mystery company Star Trucking took $180,000 from Top Rank and then deposited a check for $73,511.24 in Campas’ Bank of America account.  See his final paycheck Check & Deposit Slip. and then hit your “Return” arrow on your Browser and come back to continue.

THE JURY HAS THE EVIDENCE, NOW YOU VOTE!

Send me an email indicating whether or not Bob Arum and Top Rank are “Guilty” or “Not Guilty” of Pimping “Yory Boy” Campas?  Send your verdict ASAP to Pedro@RingTalk.com

TUESDAY WILL BE TOUGH FOR ME & JOHN!

Tomorrow morning I’ll come at you with Part II of  “Operation Yory Boy.”  What’ll make this a tough write is that Arizona Boxing Director John Montano will be on the hot seat!  In addition to bounced checks, I’ve got a document from the Maricopa County Attorney’s office that’ll just create more questions for Senor Montano!  Always an honest man, Montano allowed Top Rank to use a “Front Man” Peter McKinn who is at the center of the Tuesday installment of “Operation Yory Boy!”
