Flyweight contender and former champion Omar Nino (31-5-2, 13KOs), 36-years-old, has parted ways with Hector Garcia of HG Boxing and is currently trying to finalize a promotional agreement with Zanfer Promotions. Nino has not fought since last May's TKO loss to WBO/WBA champion Brian Viloria. Nino would like to fight the winner of the March trilogy showdown between former champions Edgar Sosa and Archie Solis. Nino, who also owns a win over Viloria, would like another crack at the Filipino sensation.
