Former champion Omar Nino Romero (31-5-2, 13KOs), 39-years-old, will finally resume his career in boxing after a three year layoff.

Nino was last seen on May 13 in 2012, when he was stopped by Brian Viloria in their trilogy bout. Now he says the hunger is back and he wants to make one final title run.

He has wins over Rodel Mayol, Juanito Rubillar, Gilbrto Keb Baas, Edgar Sosa and Brian Viloria. He defeated Viloria the first, and the second, but the second fight was changed to a no-decision after Nino failed a drug test.

Nino is back on Saturday, May 30th, in the Atemajac Plaza de Zapopan in Jalisco, Mexico.
