On December 30th in Tokyo, Japan - Argentina's super flyweight champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Omar "Hurricane" Narvaez (43-1-2, 23 KOs), will defend his title against undefeated former WBC junior flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (7-0, 6 KOs), who is moving up by two weight divisions to on the challenge against a fighter who only lost once, by decision, to Nonito Donaire.

"It is a pleasure for me to be in Japan and to be defending my title," Narvaez said. "It is an honor for me. I feel better physically and mentally every year, we are improving, confident as we step into the ring at this point in my career. Inoue is a young promising fighter and has very good technical skills. This fight we have taken is very important. Coming to Japan is a dream that I've always wanted to achieve. I wanted to come here, win and shine as I do it."
